    Dear Her,

    Did you know your pajamas are more than just something you wear to bed?
    They are part of your comfort, your routine, and your self-care.

    Pajamas (PJs) or bed clothes are special because they tell your body something important:
    "It’s time to relax. It’s time to rest. It’s time to take care of me."

    When you put on your PJs, your body begins to slow down. Your mind gets calmer. Your muscles relax. This helps prepare you for good, healthy sleep, which your body needs to grow, think clearly, and feel your best.

    Why Do We Wear Pajamas?

    We wear pajamas because they:

    • Help us feel comfortable

    • Help us relax and unwind

    “My Hygiene Promise to Myself”

    A rainbow reminds us that growth often comes after challenging seasons. Just like the colors of a rainbow work together, small daily habits work together to support our health.

    In this activity, each color represents a promise you can make to care for your body and well-being.

    My Hygiene Promises

    Red – I will protect my body 
    I will practice healthy hygiene habits that keep my body safe and clean.

    Orange – I will listen to my body 
    I will pay attention to what my body needs, especially as it grows and changes.

    Yellow – I will create a routine 
    I will build simple daily habits that help me stay healthy.

    Green – I will grow every day 
    I will keep learning how to care for my body and respect it.

    Blue – I will stay clean and consistent 
    I will practice regular hygiene routines that support my health.

    Purple – I will speak kindly to myself 
    I will remember that my body deserves care, patience, and respect.

    Remember:

    Growth doesn’t happen by luck.
    It happens through small, consistent habits.

    The 4-Leaf Hygiene Reset  

    This month, we’re introducing a simple 4-Leaf Hygiene Reset. Each leaf represents one area of growth.

    Leaf 1: Body Care

    Bathing regularly, washing your face, using deodorant, and staying hydrated all support your skin and overall wellness.

    Leaf 2: Private Care

    Wearing clean underwear daily, practicing gentle cleansing, and speaking up when something feels different are important parts of body safety and health.

    Leaf 3: Clothing & Environment

    Clean socks, fresh pajamas, washed sheets, and a tidy backpack all reduce bacteria and help you feel refreshed and organized.

    Leaf 4: Mind & Routine

    Following a morning and night routine, getting enough rest, and speaking kindly to yourself strengthens emotional health alongside physical health.

    Each small habit may seem simple, but together they create structure, safety, and confidence.

    ️✨ Hygiene Tips for Rainy Days ✨ ️

    Because staying fresh matters—even when it’s wet outside.

    Stay Clean & Dry

    • Change out of wet clothes and socks as soon as you get home

    • Dry off completely, especially feet, toes, and skin folds

    • Use a clean towel (no reusing damp ones!)

    Shoe & Foot Care

    • Let shoes air-dry fully (stuff with paper towels if needed)

    • Wash feet well and dry between toes

    • Wear clean, dry socks to prevent odor and irritation

    Skin & Hair Care

    • Moisturize skin—rainy weather can still dry you out

    • If hair gets wet, rinse or wash and dry the scalp

    • Avoid sleeping with damp hair or clothes

    Cozy Clothes Reset

    • Put damp clothes straight in the laundry

    • Don’t leave wet items in backpacks or bags

    Face Wash Checklist

    Because fresh skin = happy glow ✨

    Wash 2x a day
    Morning & night—your skin deserves it!

    Use gentle cleanser
    No harsh scrubbing, just soft circles with your fingertips.

    Rinse with lukewarm water
    Not too hot, not too cold—just right for your skin.

    Pat, don’t rub
    Use a clean towel (not the family hand towel ).

    Moisturize & protect
    Light lotion or moisturizer, and don’t forget sunscreen in the morning!

    Say something kind to your reflection
    Because the glow starts inside before it shows outside.

    Tip from Miss Wendy:
    Think of face washing like brushing your teeth—skip it, and your skin will feel it!

    Not just the splash-splash and go kind of wash. I’m talking about taking a moment with you—your beautiful, brave, sometimes tired face. The one that smiles, cries, and shows the world your light.

    Washing your face isn’t just about soap and water. It’s about care. It’s a little act of love you give to yourself every morning and every night. Even when you're sleepy. Even when you're rushing. Even when you don’t feel like it.

    Here’s what I want you to know:
    ✨ Your face tells your story.
    ✨ Your skin deserves to breathe.
