OUR SERVICES

Our Services are intended for children and teens.  When we collect Personal Information of children under the age of 13 (whom we refer to as a “child” or “children” in this Privacy Policy), we do so in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), a U.S. law designed to protect the online privacy of children.    

We obtain consent from a child’s parent or guardian before collecting Personal Information from children through our Services, unless the request for Personal Information falls within an exception not requiring a parent’s or guardian’s consent under COPPA.

We do not make Personal Information collected from children publicly available, nor do we enable children to do so on our Services. We will not condition a child’s participation in any activity or service on the disclosure of more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY PRACTICES

We take the privacy and security of your information seriously and appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We seek to use reasonable organizational, physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.   If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us in accordance with the “Contact Us” section below.

We retain Personal Information for the period that it is needed for the purpose(s) for which we collected it, and consistent with applicable law.    If you no longer want to receive marketing related emails from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt out by following the instructions included in the communications we send you. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable.  Please note that if you opt out of receiving marketing related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, from which you cannot opt out.


· Teens’ Choices.       

   If you are aged 13 or older and would like to request to access, correct, or delete Personal Information, you may email us at info@happyhygienicsconsultingllc.com. For your protection, we may limit our response to the Personal Information associated with the email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. 

  

· Parents’ Choices.   

   If you are the parent or guardian of a child, you would like to request to access, correct, or delete Personal Information related to your child, or to elect for us not to collect   or   use   any   additional   information   of   your   child,   you   may   email   us   at info@happyhygienicsconsultingllc.com.  We may request additional information to identify your child’s account or your identity and relationship with the child before implementing your request.

We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.  We may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Information provided until after the completion). 


This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating a website or service to which the Services link.  The inclusion of a link on the Services does not imply our endorsement of the linked site or service.

In addition, we are not responsible for the information collection, use, disclosure, or security policies or practices of other organizations, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Apple, Google, Microsoft, or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer, including with respect to any Personal Information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with our apps or social media pages.


JURISDICTION AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER

We may store and process your Personal Information in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers.   By using the Services, you understand that your information will be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country.   In certain circumstances, courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies, or security authorities in those countries may be entitled to   access your Personal Information.

The “ LAST UPDATED ” legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised.  Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Services.
